Effective immediately, Platerage.com will be offsetting a small amount of CO2 per ‘Rage’ submitted to the website on behalf of its users via a donation to Carbonfund.org. In exchange, Carbonfund.org will provide offsets at a rate of $10.00 per metric ton of CO2, guaranteeing that tons of CO2 purchased and retired on behalf of Platerage.com and its users, are real and verifiable, and guarantees that these tons are not double counted.
